The Humours are an up and coming power trio of unique sounds. Using folk traditions, modern songwriting and rock energy as influences for all original material, the band is putting out a new genre that have audiences branding them a “chamber U2”. The Humours are:
Colin Cotter - From LA to New York to Aberdeen, Scotland, singer-songwriter/guitarist, Colin Cotter, has performed in numerous ensembles and as a solo artist. His subtle songwriting and poetic lyrics are the cornerstone of The Humours.
Ryan McKasson - Fiddler/violist, Ryan McKasson, gained quite a following as frontman to The McKassons, releasing two critically acclaimed albums and performing around the US. Ryan’s distinct melody writing and arranging style set him apart from the rest.
Ashley Broder - Bringing a rhythmic and complimentary melody style is Ashley Broder on mandolin and electric mandolin. After touring for many years playing traditional Celtic music, Ashley joined The Syncopaths, an energetic contra dance band who have just released their first studio album.
